Funding Open Access
Open Access publishing at the University of Göttingen is financially supported by a number of measures, such as participation in transformative publishing agreements, initiatives or the local publication fund.
Through this type of financial support, the University of Göttingen enables all members of the university to present their research results via Open Access publishing.
Publication fund
The publication fund supports publishing in books and pure gold open access journals. Receive up to €2,000 in funding for your article fees.
Publishing agreements
Through the Göttingen University Library, the university concludes publishing agreements that provide financial and administrative support for open access publishing in hybrid and gold open access journals.
Publication funding initiatives
Through the SUB Göttingen, the university supports further initiatives and platforms in the field of open access publishing, which, in conjunction with the publication fund for journals and books and the publishing agreements, are intended to support the open access movement.
