GRO.publications

GRO.publications enables the creation of publication lists at various levels:

• persons
• organizational units
• projects
• working groups
• events
• journals and series

The publication lists can be integrated into other websites. This embedding is dynamic; the lists are updated automatically when additions or changes are made in GRO.publications.

GRO.publications also offers various export formats for individual publication data and entire publication lists.

New publication data is regularly imported into GRO.publications, and the manual entry of new data records is also supported by import functions. A publication data record can be linked to different profiles so that a publication only needs to be entered once but can be displayed in different lists. There is a duplicate check and mechanisms to ensure the highest possible data quality.

GRO.publications offers the opportunity to publish manuscripts for the first time. These can be individual publications as well as series of publications or similar. The documents receive a persistent identifier with the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and are provided with a Creative Commons license. In addition, they are recorded in the library catalog and reported to the German National Library (DNB), so that the mandatory submission to the DNB is fulfilled and a higher visibility of the publication is achieved.

GRO.publications is the Open Access repository of the University of Göttingen (incl. University Medical Center Göttingen) and enables the upload of full texts. This means that publisher publications can also be republished, in accordance with the Open Access guidelines of the University of Göttingen.
