eResearch Alliance
eResearch refers to the use of digital tools and methods to conduct and support extended and enriched research.
The eResearch Alliance actively supports researchers at the Göttingen Campus in the planning and implementation of research data management in accordance with the research data guidelines of the University of Göttingen (incl. UMG). It helps with the search for and use of digital tools and services so that researchers can answer their research questions with digital support or develop new research questions.
eResearch technologies and sustainable data management are already increasingly becoming part of the everyday lives of researchers and students. To prepare them for this challenge, the eResearch Alliance is working on the integration of general and subject-specific courses on eResearch topics into the academic curriculum of the University of Göttingen.
