Specialized Repositories

The Stacks (FID AAC)

The Stacks is the central open access subject repository for American Studies, English Studies, Anglophone Postcolonial Studies, Australian & New Zealand Studies, British & Irish Studies and Canadian Studies including all sub-disciplines (including literature and linguistics, history, political science). Monographs, articles, series and journals are published as first and second publications as well as gray literature (e. g. conference programs). All documents are made available in open access and can be found via search engines such as Google Scholar and BASE. The Stacks is a service of the FID Anglo-American Culture.

GEO-LEOe-docs

GEO-LEOe-docs is a domain-specific repository for geological texts and maps. It offers a service for the electronic publication of scholarly works in a permanently available and reliably citable form. All documents hosted on GEO-LEOe-docs are freely accessible. The repository publishes first releases and secondary publications of monographs, journal articles, and grey literature such as conference papers. In addition, ongoing online publications are made available as digital publications, in some cases parallel to a printed edition. A full-text search across all content is provided. An interactive overview map provides convenient access to digitised geological maps hosted in the repository, as well as to freely accessible online maps from external providers.
